 Regenerate Australia

Face to face session with Dimity Podger and Carli Leimbach

Monday 11 July 2022  5:30PM.
Face to Face:
UTS Building 10, Lvl 5, CB10.05.580

PS Be COVID safe.  Don't come if you have any symptoms.

Join us for a session where you will experience the Our Community Vision Workshop, designed by WWF-Australia for communities to explore their vision of a regenerative future and consider ideas for regenerating community and place. The workshop begins with the screening of the powerful short film*, Regenerating Australia, created by Regen Studios in partnership with WWF-Australia. The film acts as inspiration for communities to then explore regeneration through a series of facilitated group discussions and collective visioning work.

The workshop focuses on:

• Building relationships and connectivity to each other and to your place;
• Creating the space for participants to imagine “our community vision” and share it with others; and

• Exploring the potential for regeneration and regenerative projects in your local area.

We hope you leave inspired and invigorated by experiencing and learning an activation for community-led regeneration. At the close of our evening together, we would love to reflect with you on the process and your experience, bringing insights into the evolution of resources for communities. As a digital takeaway, receive a comprehensive Workshop Guide that provides step-by-guidance and suggestions for you to plan, facilitate and host a successful Our Community Vision workshop.

The film is based on a four-month listening campaign with a diverse group of Australians who shared their hopes and dreams for the country’s future. It is a new story for our nation: a story of empowerment. A story of solutions. A story of regeneration.
